Late spring's most horrifying fairytale...
Yes, I'm talking about the Eurovision Song Contest.
Norway didn't reach the final. Given that I loathe that song, I'm glad. However, looking at the ones who did go on from the semi-finals, I have to wonder how much of it is the song, and how much is neighbourly relations and old political lines.
Because really. Most of those countries were from the Eastern Bloc. And the tenth was Turkey.
