Not enough time
Nov. 16th, 2006 11:38 am- The thing I hate about having exams early is that I have absolutely NO time to digest the material. Groups continue up to next Wednesday, first exam is next Friday. Then, of course, it's Ung Symfoni-helg, and on the following Monday comes my next exam. I'm stressed out now.
- The other day I was thinking up stories in my head, as per normal, and suddenly I had to stop and think: "Is fantabulous an actual word? I also had to find the Norwegian equivalent. I think it's fabeltastisk.
- I have discovered the difference between the English and the Norwegian /v/, although it might just be me. With the English, I sort of fold my lower lip inwards, so my upper teeth hit the top/outside. With the Norwegian, my upper teeth hit the inside of my lower lip. Try it out, guys. Use these words: English: Very, never, love. Norwegian: Veldig, lever, hav.
- I might get to Troms to visit my sister and her adorable little munchkins for free in the beginning of December. I'm not sure yet.
