I'm not on Facebook. I've never been on Facebook. I have barely ever visited Facebook.

Recently, my old landlady in York sent me an invitation to join, which I won't be doing because I really have no intention of ever being on Facebook. Today Facebook sent me a reminder, along with other people they thought I would know. They were spot-on with four out of five.

How does Facebook know which people I know?
