Might as well come clean

ingvildI don't like it when people go on and on about this character they hate. I find it annoying and obnoxious. However, I think I've been doing this with this one character I find boring, bland, shallow and generic - although mostly to the patient and by now probably exasperated ears of my RL friend (who knows who she is). (Incidentally, if I ever go off on the topic again, feel free to reference this post - I give a blanket permission to tell me to stuff it.)
Admittedly, most of my annoyance comes from the fandom, who insists that this character is the world's most complicated little angstbucket, and seem intent on shoving him down the throat of everyone. In fact, it's mostly the fanon characterisation and his fanatics that set me twitching - the canon character just isn't interesting enough to elicit enough reaction.
So now I'll just say it, and (hopefully, if I remember) never talk about it again, unless someone asks me:
I find Duo Maxwell about as interesting as a pair of socks.*
*Ankle-height, beige, cotton socks.
