Taking a five minute break...

Well, I finished my exams Friday the second, and have since then alternately been very lazy and very busy. Last Friday, Solveig and I did the pepperkaker, and this Friday Hilde, Elisabeth and Tonje are coming over for the snudder and sandkaker. Today, I tried a recipe I saw on God Morgen, Norge, and I baked lussekatter because today is Santa Lucia day. Yesterday I scrubbed all the doors in the house and cleaned out some of the kitchen cupboards. Tomorrow, I will scrub the walls in the bathroom - unless I go Christmas Shopping. I have also washed the windows.
Remind me, again, why I volunteered for the Christmas cleaning?
But it's kind of fun, too. I get to listen a lot to the radio while I'm in the kitchen. Right now, it's Sami radio, which is fun to listen to, but I can't understand a word (hence my taking a break).
Thanks to scans_daily, I now have a new obsession, a manga called Saiyuki. I've ordered it on Outland (formerly known as Avalon, formerly known as Valhall), but couldn't wait, so I downloaded it image for small, poorly translated image on the net. I think I'm going to save it all to a disc and give it to Elisabeth for Christmas. (I feel safe writing this here, because she isn't even aware I have a livejournal). Cheap, but damn, it was a lot of work.
I also intend to buy the thing when Outland gets it, because like I said, the translation is poor (while the official Tokyopop one is very good), and I like having a hard copy. Besides, it's so much mirroring in Saiyuki that I look forward to really study it.
For those wondering what the heck I'm talking about, here are some analyses:
